Welcome to Basic Firearms Training. These Terms &
Conditions govern your purchase and use of any online course offered through
our website or learning platform. By purchasing, accessing, or participating in
an online course, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to
be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Online course enrollment is granted solely to the individual
who registers for the course and may not be transferred, shared, assigned, or
resold.
Each student is responsible for maintaining the
confidentiality of their account credentials. Sharing login information or
allowing another individual to access the course using your account is strictly
prohibited.
60-Day Enrollment Period
Access to the online course is granted for a period of sixty
(60) calendar days beginning on the date and time of purchase.
Students are encouraged to carefully review the course
description, eligibility requirements, and applicable issuing agency or
licensing authority requirements prior to completing their purchase.
Upon expiration of the sixty-day enrollment period, access
to the course, quizzes, examinations, downloadable materials, and course
progress within the learning platform will automatically terminate.
It is the student's responsibility to complete all required
coursework within the allotted enrollment period.
Except where required by law or approved in writing by Basic
Firearms Training, no extensions will be granted due to personal scheduling
conflicts, lack of participation, forgetfulness, or failure to complete the
course within the allotted time.
All online course materials created and provided by Basic
Firearms Training, including but not limited to videos, presentations, text,
graphics, quizzes, examinations, downloadable materials, certificates, and
other instructional content, are the exclusive intellectual property of Basic
Firearms Training unless otherwise indicated.
Course materials are provided solely for the personal
educational use of the registered student.
Students may not reproduce, record, photograph, copy,
download, publish, distribute, transmit, modify, sell, license, or otherwise
share any portion of the course materials created by Basic Firearms Training
without the prior written permission of Basic Firearms Training.
Certain courses may include or reference third-party
materials, including publicly available YouTube® videos, articles,
publications, or other educational resources. Such materials remain the
intellectual property of their respective owners and are subject to the
copyrights, licenses, and terms of use established by those owners. Basic
Firearms Training claims no ownership of third-party content and uses or
references such materials solely for educational purposes.
Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or other misuse of
course materials created by Basic Firearms Training may result in immediate
termination of course access without refund and may subject the individual to
applicable civil or criminal remedies.
Some courses require successful completion of quizzes,
examinations, or other course requirements before a Certificate of Completion
will be issued.
For courses requiring a live-fire qualification, practical
examination, or other in-person component, successful completion of the online
course alone does not satisfy all course requirements.
Certificates of Completion are issued only after all
applicable course requirements have been successfully completed.
Students agree to:
- Provide
accurate and complete registration information.
- Complete
all coursework personally unless
otherwise authorized.
- Comply
with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Ensure
any information submitted to courts, licensing agencies, employers, or
other organizations is truthful and accurate.
- Maintain
the security of their login credentials.
The information presented in this course is provided for
educational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice.

by jurisdiction. While Basic Firearms Training strives to provide accurate and
current information, no guarantee is made that all information reflects the
most recent legal developments.
Students are solely responsible for understanding and

Basic Firearms Training
reserves the right to revise, update, modify, or improve course materials at
any time to reflect changes in laws, regulations, agency policies,
instructional methods, or other business needs.
Because students receive immediate access to proprietary
digital educational materials upon purchase, all sales are final. Refunds,
credits, or transfers will not be provided except where required by applicable
law or at the sole discretion of Basic Firearms Training.
If Basic Firearms Training approves a refund, the refund
will be subject to a $20.00 administrative processing fee. This fee is
intended to offset payment processing charges, merchant transaction fees, and
the administrative costs associated with processing the original transaction,
issuing the refund, updating business records, and providing related
administrative services.
The administrative processing fee applies to all approved
refunds, including, but not limited to, duplicate purchases and the purchase of
an incorrect course.
The information provided within Basic Firearms Training's
online courses is intended solely for educational purposes. Course content may
include, but is not limited to, firearms safety, use of force, security officer
training, chemical agents, applicable laws and regulations, industry best
practices, and other related topics.
Completion of an online course does not constitute legal
advice, nor does it guarantee permit issuance, certification, employment,
licensing, agency approval, legal compliance, or any other specific outcome.
Students remain solely responsible for understanding and complying with all
applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, employer policies,
licensing requirements, and agency-specific requirements.
Where applicable, completion of an online course does not
substitute for any required live-fire qualification, practical examination,
skills demonstration, agency approval, licensing requirement, or other
in-person training mandated by law or regulation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Basic Firearms
Training, its owners, instructors, employees, contractors, and representatives
shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or
special damages arising from or related to a student's use, misuse,
interpretation, or application of information presented within any course.
Basic Firearms Training reserves the right to suspend or
terminate course access without refund if a student:
- Shares
course access or login credentials.
- Copies
or distributes course materials without authorization.
- Engages
in fraudulent activity.
- Violates
these Terms & Conditions.
- Misuses
the learning platform.
Personal information
collected during registration and course participation is handled in accordance
with the Basic Firearms Training Privacy Policy.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and
construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California without regard
to its conflict of law principles.
Basic Firearms Training reserves the right to revise these
Terms & Conditions at any time.
Updated Terms & Conditions become effective immediately
upon publication on the website or learning platform. Continued use of the
course constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
